The Prison Research & Innovation Initiative (PRII) is a multi-year project that aims to build evidence and spur innovation to make prisons more humane, safe, and reliable environments. A core part of PRII is the Prison Research & Innovation Network (PRIN), a collective of five state departments of corrections and associated researchers who are working locally to understand and improve conditions in their facilities. This panel focuses on various topics that emerged from research undertaken across these five states.
