Our session highlights comparative research which promotes and strengthens interdisciplinary research to tackle the needs of anti-human trafficking responses. This panel features research conducted at the USF Trafficking in Persons Research Lab. The panel features a comparison of two human trafficking screening tools, a cross-cultural comparative analysis of the Trauma Bonding Scale for Adults©, comparison of the impacts of commercial sexual exploitation during adolescence and adulthood, and a comparison of data collected to address stakeholder needs. Taken together, these papers highlight the benefits of comparative interdisciplinary research to strengthen collaborative efforts to address research needs in human trafficking.
