Legacy in Mentorship: Reflections on Dr. Richard Rosenfeld’s Enduring Impact

Abstract/Description

Over the course of his career, Dr. Richard Rosenfeld mentored numerous students and colleagues. He was known for being generous with his time, and continually elevated the work of those around him. In this session, several of Dr. Rosenfeld’s former students and mentees share the impact that he had on them and their scholarship. Speakers span various stages of Dr. Rosenfeld’s career, but the emphasis is on young scholars who are positioned to continue his work. During the final 25 minutes, attendees are invited to share their own memories of Dr. Rosenfeld as a mentor and colleague.
