ASC Presidential Panel: Current Concerns and Future Directions in Prison Research

Abstract/Description

The panelists will offer their views of the growing and dynamic field of in-prison research, including by discussing trends in research, current concerns and preoccupations, and the issues that warrant further investigation in the future. Based on input from scholars with a range of orientations and research experiences, it considers what studies of imprisonment should be for, what they should be about, and how they should be undertaken.
