Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session

Abstract/Description

This Roundtable will discuss how criminology can contribute to the study of regulation and regulatory governance. It highlights recent empirical and theoretical work that draws on criminological insights, especially white collar and corporate criminology, to aid our understanding of regulatory issues such as corporate compliance, rule violating behaviours, and regulatory interventions. The roundtable will engage in a discussion of how the fields of criminology and regulatory studies can better engage with one another, looking ahead at strengthening synergies.
