Session Submission Type: Roundtable Session
NIJ is committed to improving timely public access to NIJ-funded research and data. To that end, NIJ is considering the following: 1) requiring that peer-reviewed journal articles and their associated data be deposited upon publication and 2) instituting the use of persistent digital identifiers for all investigators, institutions, awards, publications, and data sets. These changes will make research findings available to the public as well as encourage replications and more robust reuse of data than is currently possible. During this panel, we will discuss the draft plan and provide an opportunity for attendees to share their thoughts with NIJ staff and leadership. We encourage you to stop in.
