Abstract/Description

This roundtable will discuss issues related to positionalities, power dynamics, and loyalties in qualitative research projects. Through a critical feminist perspective, discussants will share the realities of doing qualitative research, including navigating racism, sexism, and other power dynamics that both challenge and strengthen the nature and intent of qualitative research projects. This discussion will be especially helpful for graduate students, early career researchers, or those who are new to qualitative research.
