Abstract/Description

This panel will feature the heads of the two U.S. Department of Justice science agencies, the National Institute of Justice and the Bureau of Justice Statistics. The directors will share updates, priorities, and strategies during and after the transition of presidential administrations, emphasizing implications for the research community. Several other NIJ and BJS staff will also be present and introduced, and ample time will be offered for Q & A.
