The research explores the potential demographic, psychological, and sociological factors that may be associated with higher tendencies to engage in misogynist violence and related hate crimes by utilizing a dataset that documents the characteristics of more than 400 incidents of such violence. Our analysis will not just facilitate the identification of potential risk factors but also the development of specific typologies of socio-environmental traits that are more susceptible to fostering misogynist attitudes and violence. In addition, we utilize a survey of more than 4000 participants to identify potential associations between the personal history and psychological background of individuals and their inclination to engage in ideological misogynism.
