The Effect of the COVID-19 Restrictions on Searches

Abstract

This study examines the effect of COVID-19 restrictions on the searches in a city in New York State. The data cover the period from 2017 to 2024. The results of an interrupted time series analysis show that COVID-19 restrictions affected searches. The implications are discussed.
