Attack Types Before and After the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

Abstract

This study examines whether terrorist attack types changed after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. using the Global Terrorism Database from 1981 to 2020. The results show that terrorist attack types changed. The implications are discussed.
