Image-based sexual abuse (IBSA) has emerged as a critical issue within sexual and cyber victimization. Using data drawn from sample of undergraduate students, the bystander intervention model presented by Latané and Darley (1970) is applied to different forms of IBSA with varying individual, situational, and social contexts. Gender differences across bystanders are examined to determine the universal applicability of the bystander intervention model within these contexts and across formal and informal types of interventions.
