Child sexual abuse (CSA) remains one of the most challenging crimes to prosecute, often resulting in low conviction rates. This study examines the barriers that hinder the prosecution of CSA cases, even when a child fully discloses the abuse. Through semi-structured qualitative interviews with law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and child advocacy center staff, this research explores the key challenges in bringing these cases to trial and securing justice for child victims. By analyzing firsthand perspectives from professionals involved in the investigative process, this study aims to identify specific legal and procedural gaps and provide targeted recommendations to assist law enforcement, prosecutors, and child advocacy centers in strengthening CSA investigations and prosecutions.
