This study explores the spatial dynamics of drug-related incidents in Minas Gerais, Brazil, using a geospatial approach to analyze drug-related deaths, seizures, and homicides. Drawing on data from the Brazilian Public Health Ministry (DataSus) and Minas Gerais state police records (REDS), we mapped the correlations between these factors to identify high-risk areas and inform targeted policy interventions. The findings reveal distinct spatial patterns, with notable concentrations in the northeast (Region 15) and southeast (Region 4) regions, particularly near state borders. These results underscore the need for integrated public security strategies that combine policing efforts with health and education policies. The study highlights the role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data integration in enhancing crime prevention and public safety planning.
