Lessons Learned from National Public Defense Workload Study

Abstract

This overview of efforts to apply the NPDWS standards in diverse jurisdictions will include the results of different application studies, including the Oregon Six Year Plan to Reduce Representation Deficiency and the California Public Defense Workload Study (forthcoming). The presentation will also discuss the outcomes of efforts to use the NPDWS to seek increased public defense funding.
