The Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study (New Zealand) is one of the longest running cohort studies ever conducted. More than 1,000 study members have contributed their time for 50 years, allowing researchers from nearly all branches of human science--including behavioral and medical fields--to make contributions to our understanding of human development. But this study was not originally intended to go past age three. So how did the Dunedin Study manage to run for five decades? We will explore that question and discuss major findings, data accessibility, and recent updates in this presentation.
