This study explores how socio-cultural and geographic factors shape adolescent behaviors related to sexual health and risk-taking. Using nationally representative data from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health), this research examines regional and cultural variation in sex education experiences and their associations with adolescent decision-making and outcomes. The analysis will assess how these factors influence risk behaviors with potential ties to criminal justice involvement, including delinquency and early justice system contact. While results are forthcoming, this work aims to enhance understanding of how educational and structural contexts shape adolescent pathways, with implications for prevention efforts and policy interventions targeting youth development and justice outcomes.
