Abstract

Dr. Sfecla was determined to do work that would be in front of decision-makers (who are not known for their journal subscriptions), in areas closest to her heart and her passions. She has worked my way around the beltway figuring out how the different systems work and the place to make the biggest impact for the most people, given her skillset. Having come full circle working in juvenile and adult corrections, as well as other areas such as violent crime, policing, and victimization, she has found her way back to the area that has the most work to do – as they say, the best justice professionals are working themselves out of business.
