The Community Partnership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and sustaining a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) to violence, ensuring a collaborative and holistic approach to both prevention and intervention. This presentation will offer an ethnographic report outlining the key responsibilities of a Community Partnership Coordinator, the strategies used to build trust and foster collaboration among stakeholders, and the challenges associated with developing and maintaining partnerships across agencies. Drawing from work conducted through a grant-funded Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Program (HVIP), we will examine the outcomes of these efforts and propose best practices for implementing a CCR in other programs and communities.
