Abstract

This study involved a content analysis of feature pieces and crime-related news published in various national newspapers in recent years. The researchers investigated how crime reports are transformed into news, highlighting the significant roles of law enforcement authorities and crime research experts. This study attempts to clarify how the media outlines crime fluctuations and what is the current social perspective concerning crime. The study will analyze and discuss conversations with experts, scholars, public interest groups, and law enforcement authorities, aiming to contribute to this research field.
