Focusing on the “intersections” element of Person-Centered Supervision, this paper describes a Georgia strategy for publicly displaying academic research findings in a digestible and usable format. The DCS Research & Innovation Hub (RIH) was created as an online venue for expanding and sharing knowledge on the intersections of community supervision and contextual factors, such as mental illness and homelessness. Through the RIH strategy, practitioner organizations can transform themselves into learning institutes that constantly provide and update pertinent information to the public, which enhances research and practice. As a one-stop shop for exchanging dialogue and retrieving impartial information on community supervision in Georgia, the RIH bridges the gap between the academic community, practitioners, and policymakers. In short, it gives everyone access to the rationale behind our PCS model. With a clear and accessible understanding of the knowledge base driving PCS, agencies and stakeholders can translate theoretical knowledge into practical application.
