This presentation explores the application of an implementation science framework to enhance cross-system collaboration between state and local child welfare and juvenile services systems, while driving improvements in community- and evidence-based service utilization and outcomes. Findings from annual process and outcome evaluation efforts demonstrate measurable success, including stronger cross-system collaboration, increased utilization of community-based services, and reduced rates of recurrent involvement for program participants and completers. These results underscore the transformative potential of structured implementation approaches to address complex, systemic challenges in child welfare and juvenile services. The presentation concludes with actionable recommendations for stakeholders seeking to replicate and sustain these improvements, offering insights for creating more effective, community-driven systems of care.
