Once a strong foundation for collaboration is in place, maintaining researcher-practitioner partnerships becomes both achievable and rewarding. However, this success requires intentional effort and ongoing commitment. Drawing on lessons learned from the DC-TRAQ study, we offer practical recommendations for maintaining successful partnerships such as building reciprocity, meaningful engagement, collaborative dissemination, and other key factors that contribute to long-term success. The presentation concludes by reinforcing the importance of intentional efforts for maintaining and sustaining impactful partnerships in the field.
