Technological advancements have introduced significant benefits to assisting IPV victims and survivors using features such as real-time data, GPS technology, and voice technology. These advanced features enhanced first-responder efficiency, improved victim and survivor safety, and prevented crime. Technology-assisted interventions offer the potential for more responsive, efficient, localized, and equitable systems for addressing IPV across diverse contexts. In these approaches, by reducing the reporting and response times, there are opportunities to enhance the safety and security of victims and survivors. This paper provides findings from a comprehensive review of mobile applications related to domestic violence over the years.
