While the existence of some digital applications validates the existing needs for those apps, they are still not fulfilling the broader prevention needs of victims of IPV. Using progressive web app technology, a team of criminologists, computer science, service providers, and IT industry practitioners provides a demo of building a prototype to empower victims through self-education and self-readiness to take action to protect themselves from repeat victimization and to assist service providers in assessing the victim’s needs and responding efficiently. This presentation showcases social and behavioral science-integrated digital technology, a true innovation in breaking the wall of silence of IPV victims and subsequently helping them develop a more positive, long-term, sustainable approach to building resilience and empowerment, finding inner peace and justice.
