This paper will present a novel way of breaking the silence of many IPV victims and survivors by taking a cross-disciplinary approach bridging Social and Behavioral Science and digital technology to prevent IPV. This transdisciplinary research will integrate the varied applied methodologies, including action research, R & D, and evaluation research, to tackle technical hurdles in designing the architecture of the digital tool, which is novel in better informing evidence-based practices. The benefits and challenges of conducting a transdisciplinary, cross-field, collaborative project in addressing a complex social issue will be further discussed.
