Examining Service Delivery and Engagement Among 5-Key Participants: Findings on Uptake and Engagement

Fri, Nov 14, 8:00 to 9:20am, Monument - M4

Abstract

Research indicates that holistic reentry initiatives like the 5-Key Reentry Model improve participant access to needed services that aid community reintegration, with reentry program participants typically reporting access to more services and a greater array of services than their comparison group counterparts. Service engagement, however, is typically limited post-release for several reasons. The 5-Key Reentry Model addresses several of these factors through its individualized and wellbeing-focused approach. This paper examines service receipt and engagement among 5-Key participants; program costs are also discussed.
