Abstract

Elsa Chen served the DPCC for over a decade in various leadership roles, including Executive Counselor and Chair. In this presentation, she will reflect on the growth and evolution of the Division during that time—highlighting key accomplishments, emerging challenges, and her perspective on sustaining institutional memory. Drawing from her long tenure and recent recognition with the DPCC Lifetime Achievement Award, Chen will offer insights on how committed leadership and steady stewardship helped shape the division’s infrastructure and positioned it for continued impact. Her remarks will also touch on the importance of mentorship, succession planning, and honoring the diverse contributions of DPCC members over the years.
