Abstract

Founder and Director of the Black Criminology Network, Jen Harris highlights the unique isolation experienced by Black criminologists in the UK. She will reflect on the challenge of finding community and solidarity in a professional landscape where shared racial and gendered experiences are sparse, and discuss the importance of building intentional, transatlantic spaces of connection and validation.
