Abstract

This presentation will explore integrating experiential learning from campus events into academic curricula to enhance student engagement and foster deeper learning. By incorporating events such as a harm reduction workshop on opioid addiction, a cannabis legalization panel of experts with various perspectives, and a discussion on book banning and censorship, these experiences promote critical thinking and strengthen students' connection to contemporary social issues, enriching their academic and personal development.
