Abstract

The conditions of immigration detention centers are unjust. Throughout the research, the physical conditions of the detention centers as well as the social and economic conditions are evaluated. Social disorganization is a major factor within the conditions of the detention centers due to lack of acceptance within the United States. This joint research of Kelcie Cervelli and Kathleen Faley will examine the way immigration centers are structured and the treatment individuals face.
