The President’s Award for Distinguished Contributions to Justice is given annually to an individual or organization who, through either a single initiative or over a longer period of time, has made significant and distinguished contributions to the cause of justice. In the case of joint efforts, co-recipients may be named.

A Washington, D.C. based non-profit organization (501c3) that provides academic support for children with incarcerated parents. More specifically, their mission includes providing "college scholarships, mentoring, mental health supports, and a robust peer-support network to children of incarcerated parents, empowering them to complete their college education."
