Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
Research on intimate partner violence and (online) sexual abuse suffers from challenges related to both definitions, data sources, and measurement. This panel presents new developments in such research in Denmark, which is well-known for providing some of the best data in the world. Presented papers cover both population administrative data (including a dynamic panel of partners and several data sources for measuring IPV) and closed-source police records (including crime reports, transcripts of investigative interviews, chat logs, image-based evidence, and court documents).
