Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
The session consists of four presentations. The topics are: „Bialystok School of Criminology – new trends in research“; „The main Directions in criminological research of Police Academy in Szczytno“; „Selected Activities of School of Eco-Criminology in Olsztyn“; „Property Crime Victimisation: Results from the "Rural Crime in Poland“ Study“. The Speakers present the main criminological research centers in Poland. There are: Police Academy in Szczytno, University of Bialystok and University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Moreover co-speaker of the last presentation will be Prof. Joseph Donnermeyer from Ohio-State University. He was also visiting professor at the University of Bialystok last year and cooperates with Bialystok School of Criminology. Presented research topics are very diverse and include, for example: organized crime, terrorism, green criminology, AI, a wide range of human health problems, including legal and criminological aspects of organ transplants, doping and drug-related crimes.
