Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
The National Juvenile Justice Data Analysis Program, awarded and managed by the National Institute of Justice with funding support from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), is a primary resource to assemble juvenile justice-related data, analyze and report on complex data and issues, and develop publications and online resources to make juvenile justice data easily accessible to the field and the general public. The project is a core research activity administered by the National Center for Juvenile Justice (NCJJ) from which numerous reports and web-based products have become a standard in the field. This panel will draw on data collected by the National Incident-Based Reporting System and the National Juvenile Court Data Archive to examine sexual offenses by and against youth, such as sexting cases in juvenile court, youth victims of sexual assault, and human trafficking by and against youth.
