Abstract/Description

The Michigan State University Center for Cybercrime Investigation and Training is tasked with improving law enforcement readiness for increasing cybercrime threats and events. To address this problem, cybercrime must be understood holistically from multiple perspectives. This panel will present research conducted by Center associates to shed light on trends and challenges in law enforcement readiness and training, cybervictimization and reporting, and cyber offending behaviors. This panel will provide a multifaceted view on the current cybercrime landscape and share lessons learned from fulfilling our mandate.
