Session Submission Type: Roundtable Sessions
This roundtable, hosted by the National Counterterrorism, Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center of Excellence for the Department of Homeland Security, addresses challenges that people connected to violent extremism face in their reintegration and reentry to communities. Our discussion will focus on both family members of foreign fighters and violent extremists as well as individuals who have been charged with violent extremist crimes. We draw upon years of field work, interviews, content analyses, and surveys to inform our discussion.
