The panel is co-hosted by the divisions of Developmental and Life Course (DLC) and Qualitative Research (DQR). Life course research has long been bolstered by qualitative insights, yet the field has often emphasized quantitative findings. This panel aims to amplify qualitative research on development and the life course by recognizing this long partnership in criminology and highlighting innovative research that leverages qualitative methods to advance understanding about the life course.
