Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
The panel is co-hosted by the divisions of Developmental and Life Course (DLC) and Victimology (DOV). Though the last few decades has borne witness to tremendous growth of developmental / life course criminology and victimology scholarship, by criminological standards, both are relatively new pursuits in the field. Newer yet is the move to integrate the two such as the move toward a life course victimology. This panel aims to draw attention to this intersection, highlighting key issues and new pathways to understanding the causes and consequences of victimization over the life course.
