Rural criminology has gained increasing attention as scholars and practitioners recognize the unique crime patterns, justice challenges, and social dynamics shaping rural communities. This panel brings together experts to discuss recent theoretical, methodological, and policy advancements in the field. Topics include the intersection between rural and green criminology, a review of the literature on sexual assault in rural communities, and a discussion of disorganization along the urbanization spectrum.
