This panel of presentations provide background information and participant experiences about the Policing Inside Out curriculum implemented at Howard University, Morgan State University and Coppin State University. This program has implemented innovative approaches to create a global model for building and maintaining community-police trust. Paper presentations highlight the components of this unique pedagogy that include engagement between HBCU students, police, and community members across an academic semester calendar, to include 15-weeks of trust building interaction through experiential learning.
