This roundtable explores the intersection of gender, culture, and media in the context of domestic violence. Panelist will address a range of topics, including the role of machismo in Latino communities, intimate partner violence as experienced by men, and the media’s framing of high-profile cases, such as the murder of Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. The goal of this roundtable is to foster dialogue on victimization, emphasizing the need for culturally responsive services and strategies that address victims' diverse needs.
