Session Submission Type: Roundtable Sessions
This roundtable explores how academic research collaborations can meaningfully enhance teaching in criminology and criminal justice. Panelists will discuss how working with colleagues on research projects has informed their course content, sharpened their understanding of complex topics, and allowed them to bring current, real-world insights into the classroom. Topics will include incorporating collaborative research findings into lectures, using data from joint projects as teaching tools, and drawing on interdisciplinary partnerships to present broader perspectives on crime and justice.
