Session Submission Type: Roundtable Sessions
Despite over a century of an American Juvenile Justice System (JJS), the closed nature of this system has left a great many scholarly blind spots. The purpose of this roundtable is to delve into some of the understudied areas in the JJS with the goal of informing and calling scholars to action. The panelists will discuss topics like teen parents in the juvenile justice system including access social support after becoming a teen parent, tribal juvenile justice, and victimization among immigrant youth.
