Abstract

The digital humanities project “Soviet Journals Reconnected” maps the social networks that evolved around a number of thick journals in the 1960s. It uses bibliographical data to show the productive interrelations between the development of cultural forms and the organization of social groups under late socialism. This lightning round presentation will focus on the web interface of the project that allows users to study thick journals in an interactive manner.
