Other Ways of Doing History: Undergraduate Coding Projects and Digital Assessments

Abstract

My talk will describe a range of digital and web-based projects and assignments aimed at college undergraduates. By introducing digital techniques into the classroom, students are encouraged to think about doing and communicating about history in non-traditional ways, from creating image galleries and archives to coding and marking medieval texts.
