Abstract

Ideological distortion and manipulation of mass consciousness are a fundamental factor in the implementation of a hybrid Russian-Ukrainian war. In this context, the phenomenon of post-truth turns out to be a modus operandi of manipulative connotations that distort the objective perception of the historical and geopolitical situation of Ukraine as an independent state with the right to independence. The author refers to Russian propaganda narratives as post-truth, which in the conditions of metamodern oscillation receive the false status of a simulacrum devoid of an ethical dimension.
