Abstract

This presentation seeks to answer the question of why strong feminist anti-military movements have not emerged in Ukraine in the context of the Russian war. Drawing on the concept of the geopolitics of liberation, the study analyses how anti-militarist feminist initiatives have been marginalized in Ukraine since 2014 and what implications this has for contemporary implementations of necropolitics.
