In this paper, I will compare political ideas of two Sakha intellectuals - Aleksei Kulakovskii and Platon Oiunskii in their 1924 and 1925 poems "Shaman's Dream" and "The Red Shaman". I argue that Oiunskii as a Bolshevik disagreed with Kulakovskii on multiple occasions and expressed his disagreement in his poem that was textually inspired by Kulakovskii's "Shaman's Dream."
