Nazi authorities employed millions of Ostarbeiter, forced laborers from Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia, as forced laborers in Germany. Tens of thousands of Soviet women became pregnant while in captivity. The paper explores the fate of Soviet children born in Germany during the war.
